FWE Simulation for Vienna: Szenarios
The FWE_Land Use Simulator
Was developed during the IN-SOURCE project based on the UD_InfraSim platform developed at AIT https://www.ait.ac.at/en/ud-infrasim.

Szenario Trend 1
This first so called trend szenario is based on the development trend derived from the land use changes between 2009 and 2016 in Vienna. Compared to the Trend Scenarios 2 & 3 is here assumed that I high share of densification occurs (80%) where already settlement area with lower population density exists.
This would mean that less new development area is necessary for the proposed population increase.Population change

This second so called trend szenario is based on the development trend derived from the land use changes between 2009 and 2016 in Vienna. Compared to the Trend Scenarios 1 is here assumed that a medium share of densification occurs (50%) where already settlement area with lower population density exists.
This would mean that more new development area is necessary for the proposed population increase.Population change

This third so called trend szenario is based on the development trend derived from the land use changes between 2009 and 2016 in Vienna. Compared to the Trend Scenarios 1 & 2 is assumed that the new development happens where arround the areas where in the past new settlement area has been established.
