Hackathon Bratislava

Last weekend we had great fun participating in the Climathon Bratislava! Where we made the 2nd place in best student teams with our idea for: RainRace – Rain avoidant navigation. Something that, to our knowledge, does not exist yet.

Therefore we:

1. Trained a ML model for the nowcasting of rain cloud movement in the near future (not quite there yet);
2. Integrated this spatio-temporal information into a network and routing model (works well!);
3. Built a mock-up of a user interface to effectively utilize these new features (looks nice!)
